Hi! I’m Shannon Elizabeth Clay, and welcome to Shannon Elizabeth Fitness! I love body movement and healthy living, and I started this blog several years ago to share my knowledge of large weight loss and to help others achieve their weight loss goals. My journey to a 100-pound weight loss wasn’t easy, but it’s been beyond rewarding and has completely changed my life.

Whether you’re here for some advice, a little motivation, or just to feel better about your day, I’m really glad you’re here!

How It All Started

My weight loss journey wasn’t always about loving the gym or understanding nutrition and healthy food. It actually started when I was feeling really terrible about myself. I was unhappy with my weight and was always feeling bad about my body. One day, I just got tired of feeling awful, so I put on some old sneakers and went for a walk. That small decision didn’t seem like much at the time, but it was the first step to changing my life.

That one walk turned into more walks, then into jogs, and eventually, I found myself running a half-marathon! It was the beginning of a new era for me. I started feeling healthier, losing weight, and knew I was on the right path.

My Love for Healthy Active Living

The more I began to move my body, the more I began to love exercise, and I wanted to share what I learned with others. I realized fitness wasn’t just about losing weight. It was about feeling good! To share my journey, my knowledge, and to help others, I started my blog, ShannonElizabethFitness.com.

I think weight loss and being healthy should be fun and part of everyday life. I don’t believe in quick diets or super-hard workouts where you can’t keep up. I believe:

  • Being healthy is about making choices you can keep doing, not just something you do to lose weight fast.
  • When you understand why exercise and eating right are good for you, it’s easier to stick with it.
  • It’s more fun and motivating when you’re not alone. That’s why I try to make this blog a friendly place where you can find support and motivation.

More Than Just Fitness

My blog isn’t just about workout tips and motivational hacks. It’s about sharing the whole weight loss journey. I talk about everything from how to feel confident exercising in public to mindsets for long-term weight loss success. I want you to know all about staying healthy and to feel like you’re not doing it alone.

My Life Beyond Shannon Elizabeth Fitness

Fitness is a big part of my life, but I also love so many other things! I enjoy reading, being outdoors, and spending time with my family and friends. Being happy and healthy isn’t just about physical health; it’s also about taking care of your mind and finding joy in the little things, that’s why so many of my blog posts talk about mindset.
