When I think of the Easter season I think of endless chocolate! Easter is one of those holidays where people don’t realize how quickly you can load up on unnecessary calories. Between chocolate, candy, baked goods, and holiday dinners, its really easy to get carried away! But Easter doesn’t have to be unhealthy! You can still enjoy a delicious Easter dinner and desserts without falling off the healthy eating wagon. Instead, this round-up of healthy plant-based Easter recipes will bring your family together and help you stick to healthy eating.

Plant-Based Easter Recipes Even Meat-Eaters Will Love

Easter is a holiday that brings family together around the dinner table. But most people agree, feeding so many different tastes can be challenging. This can be even more so if you’re planning a plant-based meal for meat-eaters.

For many people, Easter tends to be very animal specific (lots of ham, eggs and lamb) but its definitely doable to sub out these meat-based mains for a healthy, plant-based alternative. Check out my list of nutritious, plant-based recipes below and comment on which is your fav!

Easter Breakfast

Carrot Cake Banana Bread: This recipe is low-fat and great for breakfast or dessert. The carrot is perfect for the spring and Easter season and tastes indulgent without a ton of calories.

Plant-Based Easter Lunch

Vegan Ham Roast: Before my family became plant-based, a ham was a regular main at Easter brunch. Our in-laws are meat-eaters and I know they miss the Easter staple when they have Easter at our home. This vegan ham roast is a great alternative to a classic ham and will satisfy the stomaches of meat-eaters.

Easter Dinner

Vegan Rack of “Lamb”: When I first came across this recipe I literally did a double take. Firstly, it looks very much like real lamb but once I realized it wasn’t, I just had to know what was inside! This recipe is guaranteed to be a crowd-pleaser with both plant-based eaters and meat-eaters alike.

Easter Dessert

Easter Lemon Sponge Cake: This cake looks like the perfect ending to a plant-based easter dinner. A moist, sponge cake and a delicious lemon buttercream and no one will guess that it’s plant-based!

I feel hungry having just researched this post! And better believe I’m going to be planning my Easter menu asap. So far, I’m thinking my menu is going to be:

  • Breakfast: Breakfast Hand Pies
  • Lunch: Vegan Ham Roast with Spring Potato Salad
  • Dinner: Vegan Rack of “Lamb”, Green Bean Casserole with Herb & Garlic Potatoes
  • Dessert: Strawberry Mousse Tart

What would you add to your plant-based Easter menu?
